If your printouts have the problem shown above, there could be multiple causes. If there is unusually high humidity in the area of the printer, or if the paper has been subjected to high humidity, the printer may be printing faster than the ink can fuse to the paper. The same problem can be caused by printing to fast on thicker papers such as envelopes, card stock and labels.
The primary way to fix this is to slow down the printing process. Before printing a document, open the printing options and locate the setting for quality. Most likely this is set to High Speed. Change it to High Quality and do a test print. Additionally, ensure the paper type is set correctly. If you have labels or card stock paper in the printer, ensure the paper type is not set to plain paper.
